We are looking to recruit full-time members of staff at our thriving Nursery School.
Job Role: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Staunton-in-the Vale, Nottinghamshire, NG13 9PE
Reporting to: Head teachers
Hours: 35 hours per week, Hours 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only (40 weeks per year) salary note: plus paid holiday weeks
Start date: January 2021
Interview dates: ASAP/arranged as suitable candidates are identified
Closing date: 23 November 2020 at midnight
Main duties: You will take responsibility for the provision of care and deliver appropriate and inspiring learning opportunities for children in the nursery. You will carefully supervise and ensure child well-being. You will liaise with their parents/carers providing feedback.
Requirements: Successful applicants will need a minimum Level 3 Early Years Education and Childcare Qualification or equivalent (or qualification above this). Applicants will need to have a genuine interest in children, their well-being and their early education. Applicants will need to be able to engage groups of children and be enthusiastic, child-centred and very caring. Relevant experience essential and this needs to be combined with secure knowledge of the EYFS and child protection.
References: We will require the names and contact details of two referees who have known the applicant in a professional capacity within the last 4 years.

The thriving and friendly Staunton Montessori School seeks highly motivated & committed Montessori teachers, (applicants must be over 18 years) with Montessori Diploma /Degree. Staff training & career development programmes are offered. We may be willing to finance Montessori Diploma training for suitable unqualified applicants. We have an exceptionally caring & creative ethos at the school, giving a very stimulating professional environment. Hours of work are roughly 8.30am – 1.30/4.30pm (negotiable). Staff deliver the full Early Years and Montessori Curricula and work co-operatively as a team, putting the children’s welfare and education first at all times.
Staff pay is well above sector average, however staff work as Early Years Teachers, as well as providing exceptional care. Staff should have initiative, intelligence and should be impeccably turned out.
