Approaching Staunton Montessori Nursery School from the north on the A1 between Newark on Trent and Grantham:
- Leave the A1 at the signs for Long Bennington, not long after the Newark exits.
- Take the first turn to the right at the newsagents and then turn immediately left down Costa Row.
- Having left Long Bennington take the next right (near a hill) and then right again at the T-junction.
- In the village of Staunton in the Vale turn right just before the ‘Staunton Arms’ pub car park.
- ‘Staunton Montessori School’ has a private avenued drive, which is sign-posted.
Directions from Nottingham on the A52
- Take A52 eastbound (signs probably Grantham/A1).
- Stay on A52 for 15-20 minutes until you reach Elton, a small village on top of a quite steep hill (after the Vale Hotel seen on the right).
- Turn left directly after the Manor Arms pub (Indian Restaurant) at top of hill.
- Now stay on this same country road for 10 minutes (3-4 miles), ignoring all junctions until…
- you get to a really tight double bend near a quarry and shortly after that a house with a flat roof…
- then turn right at wooden bus stop after small bridge.
- You will see the village sign ‘STAUNTON’.
- At the cross roads by the pub go straight over.

From Grantham on the A1 towards Newark:
- Travel North on the A1 towards Newark on Trent
- Take the exit toward Staunton / Foston / Long Bennington
- Continue onto Great N Rd.
- Continue onto Main Rd.
- Turn left onto Vicarage Lane
- and then turn sharp left down Costa Row.
- About 1/2 a mile after leaving Long Bennington, take the next right at New Road (near a hill)
- and then right again at the T-junction into High St.
